BEHIND THE EMPIRE
Teal Empire isn’t a massive media corporation , we’re a small, dedicated team of fans who live and breathe CEA just like you. Because we’re a boutique crew, our issues drop 'once in a while' rather than on a strict schedule. We prioritize getting the story right over getting it out fast.
That said, we are working overtime behind the scenes to bring you even more coverage throughout the 2025-2026 season. From the first showcase to the final globe in Orlando, we’re leveling up. Quality takes time, and the Teal Reign deserves nothing less.

How often do you publish?
We drop issues periodically! As a small fan-led team, we focus on creating "collector’s item" quality content rather than daily news. However, for the 2025-2026 season, we are amping up our production to bring you more frequent deep dives into the CEA legacy.
Is the magazine really 100% free?
Absolutely. We started Teal Empire to celebrate the program we love. We believe every fan should have access to the history, the photos, and the stories of Senior Elite, SSX, and the entire CEA family without a paywall.
Can I contribute photos or articles?
We love this! Since we aren't a massive corporate team, we rely on the eyes and ears of the Teal Army. If you have high-quality action shots or a story about an alum or a specific season, head over to our "Contact" page. We’d love to feature your work.
Are you officially affiliated with Cheer Extreme?
We are a fan-made media project. While we have the utmost respect for Courtney, Kelly, and the entire Smith-Pope family, we are an independent voice dedicated to documenting the Teal legacy from a fan's perspective.
